<h4><a id="sthref35" name="sthref35"></a>To Edit an Administered Object Resource</h4>

<p>In the navigation tree, expand the Resources node.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Expand the Connectors node</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Under the Connectors node, select the Admin Object Resources node.</p>
<p>The Admin Object Resources page opens.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>On the Admin Object Resources page, click the name of the administered object resource that you are editing.</p>
<p>The Edit Admin Object Resource page opens.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>From the Resource Adapter drop-down list, select the resource adapter for the administered object resource.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>From the Resource Type drop-down list, select the Java type for the administered object resource.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>From the Class Name drop-down list, select the implementation class name associated with the resource type.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>In the Description field, type a description of the administered object resource.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>In the Deployment Order field, type a number to specify the deployment order of the administered object resource.</p>
<p>Resources with a lower number are loaded first at server startup. The default value is 100.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Select the Status Enabled checkbox to enable the administered object resource.</p>
<p>This option is enabled by default.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>In the Additional Properties table, specify additional properties for the administered object resource.</p>
<p>Available properties depend upon the resource adapter for the connector connection pool.</p>
<ul>

<p>To add a property, click the Add Property button. In the blank row that appears, type the property name in the Name field, and type the property value in the Value field.</p>

<p>To modify a property, edit that property's Value field.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>To delete a property, select the checkbox to the left of the Name field of the property that you are deleting, then click the Delete Properties button.</p>

<p>On the Target tab, click Manage Targets to edit the targets on which the administered object is deployed.</p>
<p>Return to the Edit Admin Object Resource page by clicking the General tab.</p>

<p>Click Save.</p>
