<h4><a id="sthref145" name="sthref145"></a>Edit Protocol</h4>

<p>Use the Edit Protocol page to modify the settings of an existing network protocol.</p>
<p>The Edit Protocol page contains the following options.</p>
<dl>
<dt>Load Defaults</dt>
<dd>
<p>Button to restore settings that have default values to their default values. Settings that do not have default values are not changed.</p>
</dd>
<dt>Configuration Name</dt>
<dd>
<p>The name of the configuration to which the settings on this page apply. This field is read only.</p>
</dd>
<dt>Name</dt>
<dd>
<p>The name of the protocol. The Name field is a read-only field. You can only specify the Name when you create a new protocol.</p>
</dd>
<dt>Security</dt>
<dd>
<p>If this option is selected, security is enabled for the protocol. If security is enabled, you can use the SSL tab to modify the security settings.</p>
<p>If you are configuring the <code>admin-listener</code> for the domain administration server (DAS), which uses the <code>server-config</code> configuration, this option is read-only. To enable security for this protocol, you must enable secure administration. See <a href="../../../common/en/help/ref-securityadmin.html">Secure Administration</a>.</p>
